In addition, we have a couple of guesthouses with 3 to 5 bedrooms as well as two apartments whereas one is wheelchair accessible.
Every unit has showers, toilets, bedrooms and living rooms, and have fully equipped kitchens and a TV. The units also have a great overview of the one-kilometer long beach, the sea and the midnight sun in summer and northern light in the winter.
The outside area has a small camping spot with a service building.
We also offer bike and electrical bike rentals.
The facility itself is situated in the small, but vibrating town Ramberg with its 300 residents. The town has a busy harbor, exciting giftshops, cafés, supermarket, gas pumps, manufacturers, florist, and a hardware shop – all in walking distance from the facility.
In close proximity you will also find a fantastic hiking trail that will lead you up the mountains Nubben (240AMSL) and Moltinden (698AMSL). Both mountains offer a scenic and vast view.
The town of Ramberg is a perfectly suited base for roundtrips around Lofoten.
Welcome to our small paradise!
Cabins with shower/bathroom, bedroom and living room, including a fully equipped kitchen, TV and WiFi. All cabins come with a small terrace where you can sit and enjoy a scenic view over the beach and the sea. Linen and towels, as well as cleaning after departure is included. You can also park right next to the cabin.
Situated on the outskirts of Lofoten, with a magnificent view over the ocean and a one-kilometer sandy white beach, you will find the restaurant of Ramberg Gjestegård. The location always inspire use to take use of the resources that our nature offers us.
Our partnership with local fishermen allows us to serve our customers fresh fish and the techniques being used such as e.g. salting, drying or smoking, is something that has been passed down generations in this area.
The midnight sun helps our soil to develop wonderful herbs that are being grown in the long and light summer nights, which also brings out a unique and beautiful taste and aroma.
If you are considering taking a midnight stroll up the mountain side, you might be lucky enough to find cloudberries that are soaking in the sun. The chefs often go picking and bring them back to the restaurant to create tasty deserts.
For hundreds of years Lofoten has exported a lot of its fish to other countries and a lot of our traditional courses have been characterized by this international connection, but of course we have stayed true to the basis of our produce. In a world that gets smaller by the day, because of influences from elsewhere, it is important to maintain traditions, but at the same time have a focus on creating and developing new courses based on the resources we have available.
In addition to enjoying our food, our restaurant also displays exhibitions from our skilled local artist.
