About Ramberg Gjestegård
Ramberg Gjestegård is a small but versatile tourist
business.
In the main building there is a reception and a cosy well-renowned
restaurant. Here, we serve anything from coffee and cake to
culinary delights based on North Norwegian ingredients, especially
fish dishes. The restaurant is fully licensed.
Down towards the wonderful sandy beach we have 10 chalets
of various sizes, with from 2 to 5 beds. All have shower/toilet,
bedroom and lounge with a fully-equipped mini-kitchen. TV
in some chalets.
One of our chalets is suitable for wheelchair users. There
is a fine view of the beach, the open ocean and the midnight
sun from all chalets. In the remaining outdoor area we have
spaces for 35 tents/caravans/campers. We also have a service
building, with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room/lounge
with TV, showers and toilets and a laundry room with a washing
machine and tumble dryer.
We have bicycles, kayaks and boats (with or without motor)
available for hire. We can arrange charter tours on the Lofoten
Sea with a fishing boat. The boat is named MS Kvisla and has
room for 5 passengers.
Our location is in the middle of the small but lively village
of Ramberg (population approx. 300). Ramberg has a grocery
store, petrol station, draper’s store, bank, post office,
doctors and dentists surgery, art and crafts shop and a gallery
– all within walking distance from the site.
Ramberg is also an ideal central starting point for exploring
Lofoten.
Ramberg Gjestegård is an environmentally certified business
(the Eco-Lighthouse Program) which is an assurance that we
have attained official standards required for an environmentally-friendly
company.
